All Rights Reserved.Ertunc Baykal, whose family has forced to migration from Greece before 1924 Turkish-Greek Exchange Migration, has kept all documents ever since they have been living in Kavala [Καβάλα] city during Ottoman Greece. I have seen them for the first time. I have snapshot some of them. There was huge history hidden under those Lingua Ottomani written texts; daily social lives, personal lives, life stories, loves, broken-love stories, School Note Cards, Diplomas, Deeds of Marriage, Deeds of Land & House Properties, Carnets of Foods, Social Helps or Governmental Helps and the likes.
I was given written and verbal consent of Mr. Ertunc Baykal for publishing those valuable and precious copies of documents and certificates. All thanks go to Mr. Ertunc Baykal for his sincere and honest courtesy and kindness.
Kavala [Greek: Καβάλα]: is the second largest city in northern Greece, the principal seaport of eastern Macedonia and the capital of Kavala prefecture. It is situated on the Bay of Kavala, across from the island of Thasos.
Izmit [Bythinian > Ancient Greek: Nicomedia: City of Nicomed <> Uskudar] in 324, Izmit [Nicomedia] served as an interim capital city for IConstantine the Great between 324 and 330, until the nearby Eastern Roman Empire [Byzantium] was officially declared Nova Roma [New Roma] later known as Istanbul [Constantinople], present-day Istanbul.
